Lavada Ridley Kilgore, age 69, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Friday, April 9, 2021. She was born October 18, 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Kilgore; parents, Hilda Scott Williams; Ernest Ridley and stepmother Edna Ridley; brother, Danny Ridley; sister, Laura Ridley. She is survived by her son, Barry Kilgore of Chatsworth, Ga; daughter and son-in-law, Adrienne and Lee Sosebee of Ringgold, Ga; brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Linda Ridley of Dalton, Ga; Tim and Sarah Ridley of Chatsworth, Ga; brother-in-law Lamar Strickland; grandchildren, Zoe Sosebee and Phoebe Sosebee; Several, nieces, nephews and cousins. A Funeral service to celebrate the life of Lavada Ridley Kilgore will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home, with Bro. Bill Williams officiating. Interment will be at Kilgore Cemetery in Chatsworth, Ga. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Monday, April 19, 2021.
