Bertie Faye Lands, age 74, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was born on December 14, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents; Freeman and Lillie Seritt; the Father of her children, Trammell Putnam; brother, William George "Dub" Seritt and Freddy Lamar Seritt; sisters, Patsy Shiver and Deborah Taylor. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lands of Dalton; sons, Clint Putnam of Dalton, Chris (Shana) Putnam of Dalton, Rodney (Kim) Lands of Elljay daughters, Vickie (Glenn) Stephens of Chatsworth and Sandy Lands of Chatsworth; brother, Jerry (Lynn) Seritt of British Columbia; sisters, Brenda (Glen) Elrod of Dalton, Shirley Parker of Resaca, Jo (Allen) Cables of Dalton and Vergie (Steve) Dean of Chatsworth; brother in law, Ed Shiver; sister in law, Janice Seritt Forbes; 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great children and several nieces and nephews A funeral service to celebrate the life of Bertie Faye Lands will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 2:00 PM, at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Pastor Tommy Webb and Pastor Jacky Ellington will officiate the service. The pallbearers are Danny Shiver, Matt Quarles, Steve Dean, Blaze Putnam, Jody Holsomback, Glenn Stephens, Rodney Lands and Grady Shiver. Interment will be at White's Cemetery in Villanow. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00 PM -8:00 PM Wednesday evening. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S.
