Mr. Carl (Erwin) Cantrell, age 82, of Dalton, GA. passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was born on August 30, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, Farris and Daisy "Duvalve" Cantrell; and brother, James Cantrell. He is survived by his wife, Celia Cantrell of Dalton; sons, Kelly Cantrell (Michelle) of Dalton and Blake Cantrell (April) of Dalton; sister, Dorothy Crow (Larry) of Whitfield Co.; mother-in-law, Iola Smith of Dalton; grandchildren, Alex Cantrell (Brianna), Isaac Cantrell, Lori Cantrell, Torrie Cantrell, Link Cantrell, Colt Cantrell, Emma Barry, Aria Barry, and Cali McKeehan; great-grandchildren, Dawson Cantrell and Elijah Cantrell; and several other nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Carl (Erwin) Cantrell will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home, from 4:00 – 6:00 PM with lite refreshments following the service.
