Cynthia Lynn Schean, age 62, of Chatsworth, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Born on September 27, 1963, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Robert Smith and is survived by Elizabeth Smith. Cynthia lived a life defined by strength, devotion, and love. Above all, Cynthia was a devoted mother. As a single mom of four, she embodied resilience and unwavering dedication, raising her children with compassion and courage. She was a woman of strong character, admired for her determination and the warmth she extended to everyone around her. Cynthia found joy in the simple beauty of life. She loved tending to flowers and watching birds, especially hummingbirds, which brought her peace and delight. Her ultimate wish in life was to reach the Pearly Gates and be welcomed into God's eternal kingdom. She is survived by her daughter, Athena (Melissa Walraven) Baker; sons, Joshua (Brandy) Miller, Kyle Miller, and Richard Miller; brothers, Michael Smith, Randy (Candy) Smith, and Timothy Smith; sister, Sibyl Eaves; and seven cherished grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love. She was joyfully awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild. Above all, she adored her pastors, Donnie and Sharon Patterson, whose guidance and love meant more to her than anything. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the House of Deliverance Church in Ranger. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Cynthia's life was a testament to strength, love, and grace. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
