Jackie Flood, age 77, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022. He was born on August 5, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Flood and Lois Burch Flood; brothers, J.E. Flood, John Flood, Pat Flood; and sister, Betty Vess. He is survived by his wife, Sue Flood of Dalton; sons and daughters in law, Ray Flood of Chatsworth, Jason and Tiffany Allen of Dalton, Kendall and Marsha Allen of Cohutta; brother and sister in-law, Jerry and Ann Flood of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Brianna Allen and Kianna Allen, Hannah O'Neal, Mattie O'Neal; and several great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Jackie Flood will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2022 with Pastor Jeff Johnson officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
