Joan Sexton, age 74, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was born on February 25, 1947. She was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters. Joan Sexton is survived by her husband, Randy Sexton; sons, David Sexton of Cleveland, TN, Russell Sexton of Cleveland, TN; daughters, Loretta (Terry) Honeycutt of Tilton, GA, Pamela (Rob) Crawford of Charleston, SC; brothers, Dink Clark of Jamestown, TN; grandchildren, Natasha Ray, Katlin Sexton, Amanda Sexton, Crystal Morgan, Brittany Sexton; great grandchildren, Nikki Ray, Haley Ray, Alimay Ray, Serenity Sexton, Harmony Arp; several nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Joan Sexton will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Brother Jerry Davis will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5 – 8 pm at Dalton Funeral Home. She will lay in state from 1 – 2 pm at Mount Carmel Church prior to the service on Wednesday.
