Marie E. Doss, age 97 of Dalton, Georgia formerly of Harriman, TN departed this life on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Marie was born July 15, 1923. She was preceded in death by her parents, James David and Pearlie Eddy Doss; sisters, Ruth Harper, Estelle Penn and Wilma Pearce. She is survived by her brothers and sisters in law, Tony and Debbie Doss of Hueytown, Alabama; Bill and Mary Doss of Huntsville, Alabama; Ruby Walters of Chattanooga, TN. She is also survived by nephew, Dan and Beverly Sessions with whom she lived the last 30 years of her life. She Has several nieces and nephews and all of them were special to her. She was humble and kind and a guardian angel to many. The family will have a private graveside service for Marie E. Doss at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Vinemont, Alabama.
