Ms. Mildred Marie West Grant, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia passed away at her daughter's home in Tunnel Hill on Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born on June 27, 1940. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanton and Anna Lou "Keener" West; the father of her children, Gary V. Grant Sr.; son that she loved dearly, Gary Grant Jr.; two brothers, Arvil and Earl West; and sister, Frances Ray. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Allen and Vickie Cantrell; one grandson, Andrew Wilson; sisters, Marilyn Lowe, Kathy Walker, Helen Smith, Rachel Warren, Deloris Holcomb, Doris Wade, and Dorthy Lawless; and one brother, Haden West.
