Mr. Ray E. Harper; age 67, of Dalton, Georgia passed away, April 8, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on July 14, 1954. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Harper; mother, Lou Harper; brother, Butch Steedley; son-in-law Barry Greeson. He is survived by the mother of his children; Karen Harper, daughter; Marie (Shannon) Dills, Beverly Greeson, Sherry (Chris) Brock, from Dalton, Georgia; sister; Debra Harper of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren; Karey Dills, Taylor Dills, Jake Brock, Tessa Brock, and Drew Greeson, great grandchildren; Holden Dills, niece; Lillie Griffith, nephew; Wil Griffith. A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Ray E. Harper will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 11, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at United Memorial Gardens in Dalton. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Monday, April 11, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home.
