Rosella Shipman age 75, of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, died Thursday, April 24, 2025. Rosella was born in Calhoun, GA, on January 30, 1950, the daughter of the late Abraham Greeson and Gertrude Lands Greeson. Rosella was of the Baptist faith. She was known as the "Can Lady" throughout Summerville and Sonoraville, GA. Rosella enjoyed coloring, cooking, gardening, flowers, and anything outdoors. In addition to her parents, Rosella was preceded in death by her siblings, LeRoy Greeson, Lloyd Greeson, Freddy Greeson, Earnest Budd Greeson, and Lewis Greeson. Survivors include her former husband, Dennis Shipman; daughter, Diane Muse (Jane Muse); son, Paul Shipman (Shell Smith); grandchildren, Tyler Shipman, Sarahgrace Shipman, Ben Clayton, Keisha Champion (Tyler Smith), and Wayne Grant (Rebecca); great-grandchildren, Anthony, Devin Pettyjohn, Dustin Clayton, Sophia Smith, Chyann Smith, Melissa Smith, and Raven Grant; and a brother, Mark Greeson (Vickie). Graveside and interment services will be Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 3:00 P.M., Subligna Cemetery with Rev. Mitchell Gaston officiating.
