Sheila Cartledge, age 70, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019. She was born on December 2, 1948. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude William Cartledge and Johnnie Louise Cartledge; a sister, Teresa Lynn Cartledge; and a brother in law, Phillip Peppers. She is survived by her aunt, Billie Akins who she was raised together like sisters and was a lifelong best friend; brothers and sisters in law, Claude and Diane Cartledge of Chatsworth, Bobby and Cindy Cartledge of Dalton; sister, Vickie Peppers of Panama City, FL; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Stanley Bond and Angie VanMeter. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Sheila Cartledge will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Dr. James Cox and Rev. Darrell Akins officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 6-9 PM Wednesday evening.
