Mrs. "Shirley" Ann Mulkey Gribble, age 79, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. She was born on February 28, 1943. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Gladys "Worley" Dycus; spouse, Pete Mulkey; spouse, Don Gribble; daughters, Angela Mulkey and Andrea Gribble Knight; and brother, Chris Dycus; sister-in-law, Alice Dycus; brother-in-laws, Leroy Holder and Jack Kidd. She is survived by her sons, Steven and Denice Mulkey of Dalton, Scott Mulkey and Jason Miller of Dalton, Mike and Kim Gribble of Calhoun, Larry and Cassie Knight; her beloved dog, Ms. Sassy Jane; brothers, Billy Dycus of Ringgold, Wilborn and Betty Dycus of Rocky Face, Ray and Theresa Dycus of Dalton, Jimmy and Jan Dycus of Rocky Face, and Jacky Dycus of Dalton; sisters, Louise Holder of Burchwood, TN, Brenda and Chris Helton of Dalton, Betty Kidd of Dalton, Debbie and Barney Collins of Dalton, Karen Harper of Dalton; grandchildren, Hunter Mulkey, Garrison Mulkey, Lindsey Mulkey, Ethan and Savannah Knight, Chris and Stephanie Gribble, Andrew and Crystal Gribble, Tanner and Brianna Knight, and Olivia Knight; great grandchildren, Dallas Gribble and Logan Johnson; special niece, Debbie Wilson; and special friend, Mary Thelma Norris A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. "Shirley" Ann Mulkey Gribble will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Tunnel Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Jay Tenney officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Tunnel Hill United Methodist Church.
