Mr. Wade Powers, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022. He was born on September 25, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Rose Powers; brothers, Walter Powers Jr., Carl Powers, Floyd Powers, Charles Powers, Earl Powers, Jerry Powers, Larry Powers and Tobe Powers. He is survived by his wife, Viola Powers; son, Randy Powers; daughters, Robin and Greg Wagon of Dalton, Debbie and Jeff Hughes of Dalton; grandchildren, Wade, Stacy, Johnathon, Blake, Ashleigh, Jeremy and Trenton; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchildren; special nieces, Gina Pruitt, Leslie Roberts and Sherry Powers; special little caregiver Addilyn. A very special thank you to all the caregivers at Heartlite Hospice. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Wade Powers will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home Chapel with pastor David Owens officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11 AM – 2 PM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home, interment will be held at Redwine Cove Cemetery.
