Yvonne Hughes Wright, age 49, of Cohutta, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017. She was born on December 5, 1967. Yvonne was a member of The Church of God of The Union Assembly in Chattanooga, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Carlston Hughes, SR and Dorothy Anette Hughes; brothers, William Stewart and Eddie Stewart; sisters, April Hughes, Kela Kay Hughes and Cindy Beavers. She is survived by her fiancé, Jerry Matthew Wright of Cohutta; sons, John Tipton (Brandy) of Virginia, Samuel Harrison of Virginia, Joel Davis (Marty) of Dalton; daughters, Athena Tipton (Jason Hawkins) of Cohutta, Carry Holcomb (Joey) of Cohutta, Addie Tipton (John) of Ringgold, Lorri Brown (Adam) of Ringgold, Breanna Jackson of Virginia; brother, John Hughes, JR of Dalton; and 11 grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Yvonne Hughes Wright will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Kaylon Hughes and Bro. Anthony Allen officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 10-2 on Sunday prior to the service.
