Zollie Marion (Jack) Sisson, age 75, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 22, 2014. He was born on July 1, 1938 in Dalton to the late Zollie and Mattie Sisson. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ruth Sisson of the residence; sons and daughters in law, Zollie Mark and Dana Sisson of Calhoun, David Alan Sisson of Dalton, and Ricky Lee and Angela Sisson of Chatsworth; daughter and son in law, Peggy and George Hobgood of Eton; sisters and brother in law, Minnie Martin of Chatsworth, Lavada and Alfred Blalock of Alabama; grandchildren, Clark Sisson, Ricky Lee Sisson Jr, Beth Green, Summer Dalton, Cynthia Balentine; and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Zollie Marion (Jack) Sisson will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Young officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday evening.
