Naomi Crider "Mamaw"

October 11, 1939 - December 5, 2021

Naomi Bledsoe Crider (Mamaw), age 82 of Dalton, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday December 5th, 2021, at Emory University Midtown Hospital in Atlanta GA. Naomi Crider was born in Pineville KY to Willie and Mae Bledsoe on October 11, 1939. She married Rev. Dennis D. Crider on January 25, 1964, in Covington Kentucky. Naomi Crider was a faithful member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly and a very strong women of faith. Naomi Crider is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. Dennis D. Crider; parents, Mae and Willie Bledsoe; children, Herbert and Lloyd McCollum; granddaughters, Amelia Faulknor and Pamela McCollum; and brothers, Jr, Bob, David, George, and Charles Bledsoe; and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews also survive. Naomi is survived by her daughter in law, Lavada “Skipper” McCollum, wife of Lloyd McCollum; children, Debbie and Matt Stacks of Calhoun GA, Wesley and Sandra Crider of Ringgold GA, Jay and Fosteine Crider of Cedartown GA, Marty and Teresa Crider of Newnan GA, and Martain and Tim Richey of Dalton GA, 25 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jesley, Andrew, Ethan, and Eli Crider, Jeremy McCollum, Dillon Kimble, and honorary Brother Richard Jackson. The family of Naomi Crider wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Doctors, nurses, and caregivers of Emory University Midtown Hospital as well as the caregivers of Homestead Palliative and Hospice care. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Naomi Bledsoe Crider (Mamaw) will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Pratt Hughes and Bro. Charlie Pratt officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations for funeral expenses may be made to Dalton Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S.
