Agnes Kathleen Souther, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on September 6, 2026, at AdventHealth Murray. Born on September 19, 1951, in Knoxville, Agnes will be remembered with love for the warmth she brought to those around her and for the special place she held in her family.
Agnes spent her working years in office work, carrying out her responsibilities with steady dedication. Beyond her work, she found joy in the beauty of gemstones, jewelry and shoes, interests that reflected her appreciation for things of color, character, and charm. To those who knew her best, she was a great lady and the best aunt, remembered for her caring presence and the affection she shared so freely.
She is survived by her special nephew and caregiver, Terry White and his wife Sharon; her nieces and nephews, Mark White and his wife Ann, Melissa White, Shanda Neal and her husband Joey. Kimberly Hendrix and her husband Mike; and her special friend, Lillie Newman. May their memories of Agnes bring comfort in the days ahead and remain a lasting source of peace and love.
Agnes was preceded in death by her father, LB White; her mother, Alveretta Buffalo White; her son, Rodney Warren; her brothers, Floyd White, Gary White, and Jimmy White; her sister, Paula Jean White; and her nephew, Kelvin White. Their memory remained part of her life, and she now rests reunited with those who went before her.
Visitation will be held on September 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, Georgia 30721. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Dalton Funeral Home with Reverend Allen Massengill officiating. Burial will follow at West Hill Cemetery.
Agnes Kathleen Souther will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
