Allen Scott Lumpkin, age 47, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015. He was born April 5, 1968. Scott is survived by his daughter, Brittany Lumpkin of Tunnel Hill, GA; parents, Alton and Barbara Lumpkin of Dalton, GA; brother and sister in law, Stephen and Denise Lumpkin of Carbondale, GA; sister and brother in law, Vicki and Jimmy Hester of Douglas, GA; mother of his daughter, Roberta Page; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Allen Scott Lumpkin will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, October 25, 2015 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Nation and Bro. Jimmy Hooper officiating. Interment will follow at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM on Saturday evening.
