Alton R. Green, age 68, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014. He was born on March 21, 1946 in Dalton, Georgia. He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Herbert Green; mother, Cora Mae Green; brothers, James Green, …Luke Green, and Lloyd Green. He is survived by his sister and brother in law, Mae and Herbert Weaver of Tunnel Hill, GA;several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Alton R. Green will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, May 5, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm till the funeral hour.
