Annie Mae Crowder, age 80, of Acworth, Georgia passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16, 2018 at her residence. Born on August 1, 1937 she was a native resident of the Shoal Creek Community in North Carolina and later Dalton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella White (Swanson); husband, Julius Crowder, they were married celebrated life together for over 40 years. Also preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by one son, Gerald Crowder of Acworth, Georgia; and one daughter and son in law, Janet and Benjamin Crisp of Murphy, North Carolina; one grandson, Adam Dane Beaver of Chatsworth, Georgia; special friends, Michael Turnipseed and Pete Sweenie; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. And a special thank you to Heart Land Hospice for their great compassion and care. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
