Anthony Lee Howard Sr., age 66, of Varnell, Ga. Left this heavenly earth Tuesday, November 8, 2022 surrounded by his loved one's. He was born in Chattanooga, Tn. on January 31, 1956. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Martha Howard Sr.; brothers, James, Floyd, Kennith, Steve, Ralph and Greg. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Margaret (Charlie) Howard; daughters, Jennifer Stevison (Chris) of Cohutta, Amanda and Timmy Suggs of Dalton; sons, Anthony Howard Jr. of Varnell, Matthew and Nichole Howard of Cohutta, Joseph and Kaylan of Dalton; sisters, Edith Barbee of Ringgold, Janice Hixson of Dawnville; Several grandchildren, great grandchildren and as well as host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Anthony Lee Howard Sr. will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022 in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with pastor Ricky Kesley officiating. Interment will be held at Varnell Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00-2:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Dalton Funeral Home. The pallbearers will be, Matthew Howard, Joseph Howard, Anthony Howard Jr., Charles Barbee, Timothy Suggs and Christopher Gray.
