On Saturday, May 13, 2023, Arnold Owen Trout, age 79, broke free of his earthly bonds and joyously entered Heaven. We are sure it was a wonderful reunion when he saw family he had long missed. Arnold loved people and liked to chat. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and using the GI Bill, he was able to earn a degree in Transportation. However, he preferred driving and was happiest in the cab of an 18-wheeler. Arnold was a member of Teamsters 612 and drove for several companies over the years, most notably Mason-Dixon Special Commodities. Arnold loved to travel so he and his beloved wife Nancy visited many places. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He attended the Valleybrook Church of God (Dalton, GA) and was a member of the Peachtree Church of God (Murphy, NC). Preceding Arnold in death were his parents, Jake and Clara Belle Trout, his siblings Junior, Bobby, Faye Teems, Wanda McTaggart, J.C. Trout, Eva Adams and his son, Tim Crigger. Survivors include his loving wife, Nancy; daughter Patty Davis (Gene); grandchildren, Tim Crigger, Andrew Crigger, Wes Davis (Victoria) and Alicia Davis; along with cousins and many nieces, nephews and in-laws; extended family include Aunt Betty Fowler, the Charles Bonds family and the Wigfall family of Chattanooga.
