Arthur Jackson Kidd, JR, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018. He was born on July 12, 1947. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Jackson Kidd, SR and Stella Sartin Kidd; and a sister, Doris Kirk. He is survived by his wife, Betty Kidd of Dalton; sons and daughters in law, Jeff and Jennifer Kidd of Apex, NC, Chris Kidd of Ringgold, Jason and Wendy Kidd of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Florence Brand of Atlanta, Barbara and Troy Massingill of Resaca; grandchildren, Haley and Alan Cummings, Lydia Kidd, Gabby Kidd, Jack Kidd; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Cummings and Brentley Cummings. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Arthur Jackson Kidd, JR will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 2:00 PM until the hour of service. Interment will be at 9:30 AM on Friday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
