Barbara Jean Brewer, age 68, of Chatsworth, GA passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022. She was born on May 27, 1953. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Smith and Edna Mae "Thomas" Smith; and sisters, Marilyn Davis and Susie Key. She is survived by her husband, Earl Brewer of Chatsworth; step-son, George (Teresa) Purdy of TN; daughters, Samantha (Clayton) Evans of Chatsworth, Tammy (Gary) Moten of Dalton, Lisa (Clay) Evans of Dalton, and Robin Brewer of Chatsworth; sisters, Carolyn Griffin of TN and Kristie Smith of Nashville; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Barbara Brewer will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Faith Worship Center in Chatsworth. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM until the hour of service at Dalton Funeral Home.
