Mrs. Barbara Garrett, age 78, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022. She was born on February 4, 1944. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Ray and mother, Dorothy (Gilbert) Ray. Brother Marvin Ray, and sister Linda Flowers. She was married to the love of her life for 60 years Mike Garrett, of Dalton. She is also survived by her son, Michael W. Garrett (Lisa) of Villanow, Georgia; grandson, Blake Garrett (Shea); great grandchildren, Adelaide Garrett, Beckett Dutton; brother, Jerry Ray, of Dalton, Georgia; special niece, Teresa Flowers, special family; Greg & Vickie Roberts, Greg, Tiffany, Rider, and Royce Roberts; special friend, Cindy Green. A service to celebrate the life of Barbara Garrett will be held in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home Tuesday, March, 15 2022 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Branden Chastine officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers; Blake Garrett, Gregory Roberts, Greg Roberts, Spencer Singleton, Bryan Clayton, Lucas Haynes. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 - 2:00 PM Tuesday, March, 15 2022.
