Barbara "Bobbie" C. Wise, on the morning of April 12, 2016 passed away peacefully of natural causes. She was at home surrounded by family. She lived a full life of 81 years. Bobbie was born in Dalton, Georgia on January 9, 1935 to Stella Bearden and Ernest H. Cooper. She was the oldest of 8 children. Bobbie was preceded by her siblings, Charles Cooper, Ernest H. Cooper, Jr., Kay Moss, Yvonne and Virgil Tuck, Norma Jean and Junior Mathis; sons, Norman E. Singletary and Robert D. Singletary. She was survived by her husband, William Wise; siblings, Jerry and Kip Cooper of Ellijay, GA, Pat Cooper of Dalton, GA, Donnie and Shirley Cooper of Dalton, GA; children, Michael and Lynn Singletary, Sundae Singletary, Karen Singletary, Jerry Lewis and Juliet Clark; grandchildren, Kassiopia and David Zubriski, Jeremy and Diana Krebs, Justin Singletary, Jessica Kovaly, Amanda Singletary, Brandon and Leslie Singletary, William and Christa Kovaly, Robert Dalton Singletary, Nicholas Swiatowy, Trevor Williams; and great grandchildren, Arianna Singletary, Andrew Kovaly, Alexander Krebs, William G. Kovaly, Amberlee Singletary, Acasia Swiatowy and Everli Kovaly. Bobbie spent most of her life raising children, not only her own but any that needed family. She was blessed to be able to be a part of raising her grandchildren and many of her great grandchildren. The most important things to her were family and her faith in God. She will be missed by many but always with us in our hearts. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Barbara "Bobbie" C. Wise will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends for visitation an hour prior to the service.
