Benny Allen, age 83, of Chatsworth, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. He was born March 16, 1941. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred "Tate" Smith Allen; parents, Luther and Willie "Wishon" Allen, sister, Jean Allen Henson. He is survived by his step-daughters, Linda Smith White and husband Jimmy of Dalton, Glenda Smith Casteel and husband Alex of Canton, Ga.; sisters, Sue Allen Pinion of Dalton, Joyce Allen Tyre and husband Ronnie of Kingsland, Ga.; six step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
