Betty Jean Berrong, age 84, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021. She was born on February 15, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Berrong; parents, Bill and Sally Hartley; brothers, Gene Hartley, Robert Hartley; sisters, Annie Ruth, Frances Fox, Joyce Hartley. She is survived by her sons, Michael (Lisa) Berrong of Dalton, Randall Berrong of Tunnel Hill; grandchildren, Renea Berrong, Jessica (J.J.) Sherlin. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Betty Jean Berrong will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 7, 2021 at McFarland Hill Baptist Church with Brother Roy Gentry officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM on Friday, August 6, 2021.
