Mrs. Betty Flood, age 87, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022. She was born on January 21, 1935. She is preceded in death by her father, Rev. Jim Hayes and mother, Della Hayes; husband, D.L. Flood (Married April1, 1961); son, Dana Flood; brothers, Steed Hayes and Bobby Hayes; sisters, Ruby Jo Sisson, Jean Ridley, Grace West, Juanita Banks and Wylene Seay. She is survived by her son, Roger (Karen) Flood; daughter in-law, Melanie Flood; Sister in-law, Shirley Hayes; granddaughter, Jessica Flood; grandsons, Ryne, Murphy, Caleb Flood, Austin, Taylor Culpepper; great granddaughter, Cambree Floyd; great grandson, Eli Postell. A service will be held in the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home, Tuesday January 3, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Randy Postell will be officiating. Interment will be held at West Hill Cemetery. Family will be receiving friends for visitation at Dalton Funeral Home, Monday January 2, 2023 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM.
