Betty Carol Hannah Forester age 73, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2025. Betty was born in Kosciusko, MS, on January 20, 1952, the daughter of the late Richard Hannah and Rosalie Nanney Hannah. She enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, sewing, and plants. Betty loved being with her family. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Forrest and two great-grandchildren, Willow Rose Bryson and Milah Kate Porter. Survivors include her husband, Wesley Forester; three sons, Kenny Forester (Catrina), James Edwards Callahan (Jen), and Richard Callahan (Rochell); three daughters, Mischelle Kendrick, Edwena Fisher (Jason), and Crystal Johnson; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers; and a sister. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A Celebration of Life will be Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Kilpatrick with Tilton House of Prayer and Charlie Akins officiating. Interment will follow at Tilton Road House of Prayer Cemetery.
