Betty Jones, age 83, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was born on February 18, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Alberta McClure; brothers, Rudolph McClure, David McClure, Chester McClure; sisters, Catherine Harris, Cristina Griffin, Juanita Allen, Argie Lee McClure. She is survived by her husband, John Jones of Tunnel Hill; son and daughter in law, Greg and Sonya Jones of Tunnel Hill; brother, Robert McClure; sisters and brothers in law, Frances Cochran, Annette and Jerry Grant, Melba and Sherman Williams; grandchildren, Brandy and Scott Adams, Harley Jones; great grandchildren, Kayleigh Adams, Maddox Adams; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Betty Jones will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 PM until the hour of service.
