Betty Morris, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. She was born on September 9, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guss Morris; son, Billy McHan; parents, Edward and Effie Bennett; brothers, Frank Bennett, John Bennett, Burrel Bennett, Fred Bennett, JD Bennett; sisters, Mary Davis, Fannie, and Minnie. She is survived by her son, Raymond McHan of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Linda Sue Burns of Dalton, Barbara and Terry Wooden of Dalton; brother, Bobby Bennett; sister, Dot Horvath; 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Betty Morris will be held at 2:00 Pm Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
