Betty Lou Plott, age 66, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. She was born August 1, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Mae "Wooten" Jones; brother, George Dewayne Jones, sisters, Freta Lynne Jones, Patricia Winthrow, and Debra Jones; grandson, Devin Plott. She is survived by her loving husband Kenny Plott; son, Kenneth Lamar Plott Jr; daughters, Karen Denise Kilgore (Daniel Alan Shipp); brothers, Ernest Jones (Verna), William Lamar Jones, David Jones (Yovone); sisters, Joanne Holluns (Johnny), Shelia Monhollen (Gary); grandchildren, Coby, Jacob, Tiffany, Dylan, and Dj; great grandchildren, Emanel ,Elsie, Niokli, Kayler, Kiana, Mabel, and Angilla. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Lou Plott will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Hamms officiating. Interment will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery Tuesday, January 30,2024. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on January 29 , 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
