Betty Stone, age 94, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. She was born March 4, 1929. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Wesley Stone; parents, John Davis and Mavis "Strange" Whiteside; daughter, Kathy Jennings; brother, Ray (Sybil) Whiteside; sisters, Wilma (Paul) Bandy, Eloise (Calvin) Helton; Sister's stepchild, Jacob Willett. She is survived by her daughters, Gail (Barry) Corbin, Patti (Ron) Sutton, Sharon (Michael) Touchstone, Jane (Rick) Willett; sister, Glenda (Jerry) Hardin; grandchildren, David (Tracie) Corbin, Jennifer (Tommy) Blassingame, Anthony Silver, Heather Silver, Kelly (Warren) Ollis, Johnathan (Marianne) Jennings, Megan (Chance) Stockburger, Andrew (Jennifer) Touchstone, Jodi (Greg) Wrenn, Abigail Willett, Nathanael Willett, Caleb Willett; great grandchildren, Jackson (Brittany) Corbin, Lauren (Bradley) Newton, Logan Corbin, Corbin Nicholson, Stone Nicholson, Colt Nicholson, Heath Silver, Lilli Silver, Gavin Ollis, Laney Ollis, Madyson Jennings, Ginny Mae Stockburger, Salem Stockburger, Lexi Touchstone, Nolan Wrenn, Miles Wrenn, Jaden Blassingame; great-great grandchildren, Tatum Corbin, Jhase Corbin, Hayden Burns, Cayleigh Welch. The family would like to give thanks to Royal Oaks, Garden at Royal Oaks, Traditions Health, as well as all the sitters who loved her and also give thanks to First Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Betty Stone will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Barry Corbin and Bro. Michael Touchstone officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, February 5, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
