Beulah Bell Whaley Gallant, age 99, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021. She was born on November 2, 1921. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Gallant; the father of her son, Ewin Manning; parents, Preston and Ethel Whaley; and 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Sandra Manning of Dalton; step daughters and son-in-law, Carla Dixon of Dalton, Janet and Bob Steel of Dalton, and their children; brothers and sister-in-law, Leonard and Bernice Whaley, Freeman Whaley, Winford Whaley; granddaughter, Melissa and her husband Ed Davis; and great granddaughter, Caroline Davis of Dalton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Beulah Bell Whaley Gallant will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Herman Parker officiating. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
