Beverly Emelander, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016. She was born November 13, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Earl Singleton and Mammie Gilles Singleton; brother, Kim Singleton; sisters, Michelle Womac and Shelby Kinsey. Beverly is survived by her husband, Larry Emelander of Dalton; son and daughter in law, Larry and Emelander and April West of Dalton; daughters and sons in law, Jennifer Emelander of Dalton, Crystal and Fernando Ramirez of Dalton, Twyla and Tavis Dixon of Adairsville; brothers and sister in law, Larry Singleton of Dalton, Genna Little of Dalton, Irma and Mike Fowler of Calhoun; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Beverly Emelander will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Corbin Albertson officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. Alex Weaver, Chris Singleton, Damya Austin, Jeremy Little, Josh Little, and Dewayne Bennett will be serving as pallbearers.
