Bill Paul Chastain, age 80, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Monday, March 6, 2023 at his residence surrounded by loved ones. He was born January 5, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wendel Oliver and Marie "Stanley" Chastain; wife, Hattie "Pickelsimer" Chastain. He is survived by his son, Paul Oliver (Kerry) Chastain of Chatsworth; daughters, Shelia (Tommie) Elrod of Spring Place and Charlotte (Keith) Jones of Chatsworth; brothers, Landon Chastain of Chatsworth and Troy (Darlene) Chastain of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Justin Chastain, Cody (Hannah) Elrod, Hannah (Jantzen) DeFoor, Harmony (Jordan) Ray. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Richard Chastain officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 2:00 - 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home. Bill was a Masonic Instructor at Eton Lodge #509 for more than 55 years, he was a Textile Mechanic for more than 50 years. Bill also loved trout fishing, chickens and his fur babies Rocky and Toby.
