Billie Elizabeth Mullinax, age 78, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at her residence. She was born on December 3, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Mullinax; parents, Bill and Evelyn Kirk; sisters, Peggy Lynn Morrison, Mattie Gordon; brother, Joe Kirk; in-laws, Emmett Mullinax, Cleo and George Ball; sister-in-law, Emma Bolden; and great grandson, Uriah James. She is survived by her, daughters and sons-in-law, Liz and Dee Swanson of Chatsworth, Dana and David Burch of Chatsworth, Gail Mullinax of Chattanooga; son, James Mullinax, JR of Chatsworth; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Nikki and Cody Kintz, Danika and Jacklyn Monroe Kintz, Cody and Trina Leonard, Carson Miller, Haivyn and Peyton Leonard, Allen and Ashley Burch, Michael and Madison Opal Burch, Stephanie Swanson, Millie Whitener, Kathryn Cloer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Mary Kirk, of Dalton, Dennis and Beverly Kirk of Bowdon, GA, Eddie and Kim Kirk of Calhoun, Velva Neely of Clearwater, FL; and special friend, Juanita Banks, Rhonda Cloer and Greg Plott. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Billie Elizabeth Mullinax will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 4, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Author Corbin officiating. Interment will be at Swanson Cemetery in Chatsworth. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-9 PM Thursday evening.
