Billy Gene Rose, age 80, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was born on December 5, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Harlan Rose and Dorothy Lee Bray Rose; brothers, Ronald Rose, and James Rose. He is survived by his son, Donald Gene Rose of California; daughter, Debbie Rose of Connersville, IN; brothers, Johnny Rose of Somerset, KY, Dickie Rose of Columbus, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrna and Jim Withers of Rocky Face, GA, Alice and Mike Watkins of Rocky Face, GA, Wanda and Glen Wheet of Eubank, KY; 4 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Billy Gene Rose will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Northwest Christian Fellowship (272 Main St. Varnell, GA 30756).
