Billy Bud Sampson, age 56, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016. He was born on March 18, 1960. He was preceded in death his parents, Winfrey Bud Sampson and Susie Dill Sampson. He is survived by his sisters and brother in law, Phyllis and James Whitaker of Chatsworth, Annita Sampson of Dalton, Teresa Patterson of Dalton; step daughter, Amanda Farrell of Calhoun; and granddaughter, Julia Farrell of Calhoun. A Funeral service to celebrate the life of Billy Bud Sampson will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Baker officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
