Brenda Smith, age 69, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, October 23, 2017. She was born on April 11, 1948. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Eula Hopkins. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Christopher and Stacie Smith of Ringgold; sister, Pat White of Dalton; niece, Norma White; nephew, Michael White (Andi); great nieces, Kimi Williams (Brett), Mikayla White; great nephews, Jeremy White, Jonah White; great great nieces, Kaseryn Williams, Mirical Simpson; and a special friend, Judy Locke. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Brenda Smith will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Patterson and Pastor Tim Cheathem officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Friday evening.
