Byron Anthony "Tony" Duncan, age 65, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was born August 26, 1959. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Duncan; father, Charles Byron Duncan. He attended Mineral Springs Church and had a long career at Dalton Utilities for over 30 years. His love for fishing, hunting, and animals shows his appreciation for nature and the outdoors. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Duncan Hood; girlfriend, Carin Cowan; daughters, Amanda Duncan and Rob Waterson, Heather Cox and husband Jason; brother, Charles Trent and wife Tammy; bonus son, Jarod Hearn and wife Carter; niece, Tabitha Blackwell and husband Michael step-sister, Faith Hood Morales and husband Martin; grandchildren, Aubrey Cox, Sydni Cox, Aaron Cox, Charlie Cox, Harlie Cox; sister, Gerri Jones and husband Lee and their sons, Noah and Isaiah. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Byron Anthony "Tony" Duncan will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Mark Hall reading the eulogy and Pastor Gordon Delashmitt officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
