Carl Anthony Pitts, 59 of Resaca, GA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at his home. Carl was born on April 18, 1957  in Florence Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Leon Pitts, his brothers Glenn Pitts, Tim Pitts, and his sister Deborah Eads. Carl is survived by his best friend and  wife of 40  years, Carolyn Ann Hullender Pitts;  Sons and daughters in law, James and Chasity Pitts, Resaca Ga, Jeremy Pitts, Resaca, GA, Joshua and Crystal Pitts, Chatsworth, GA, ; Mother, Dorothy Dollar Pitts, Dalton GA; Brother and sister in law Michael and Karen Pitts, San Antonio TX,  sister, Kay Pitts, Roswell GA, brother in law and his wive, James and Jean Hullender, Resaca GA, sisters in law and their spouses, Christine and Danny Bowen, Cleveland TN, Jackie and Jeff Carden, Cleveland, TN; 10 Grandchildren, Gavin Pippin, Skylar Pitts, Brandon Pitts, Jeremiah Pitts, Jacob Pitts, Jason Pitts, Justin Pitts, Jade Pitts, Clarissy Pitts, and Austin Moss; several Nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Carl will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Shawn Pinette officiating.
