Carl Lee Shelton "Shorty" age 55, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. Carl was born in Dalton, GA, on November 20, 1969, the son of the late Moss Harlon Shelton and Mary Catherine Sanders Shelton "Kat". He was employed with Dorsett Industries for 20 plus years. Carl enjoyed fishing, going to casinos, and watching TV. In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a sister, Leather Tackett. Survivors include his wife of twenty-five years, Vicky Shelton; three daughters, Shera Morris, Shelly Guldi, Libby Scott (T.J.), and Joe Shelton (Aubrey); eight grandchildren, Jackson, Hunter, Aaron, Owen, Magdelina, Beatrice, Annabelle, and Max; and a sister, Ruby Carson (Christopher).
