Carla Janet Britt, 86, a loving mother and wife, died June 3, 2018 at her home in Dalton GA. Carla was the oldest of four girls and was born in Biltmore, NC to her parents Altha and Lawrence Haws. She is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Garnett Britt; five children, Lynne Higdon and son-in-law Jack Higdon, Sanford Britt and daughter-in-law Teri Britt, Alyssa Partlo and son-in-law Alleyn Partlo, Kenneth Britt and daughter-in-law Tiffany Britt, Janet Pye and son-in-law John Pye; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sisters, Earline Cook and Jenny Franklin.  Carla sleeps at West Hills Cemetery until Jesus awakens her with His soon return. A memorial service will be at the Dalton Seventh-Day Adventist Church on June 16 at 5:00 p.m. The family ask that in lieu of flowers make a contribution in Carla's name to your charity of choice.
