Carolyn F. Horning, age 75, of Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, December 25, 2015. She was born August 16, 1940. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dave Smith; and her parents, John and Lillian Crider. She was survived by her daughter and son in law, Cheryl and Dennis New of Summerville; brothers and sisters in law, Jerry and Susie Crider of Dalton, Johnny Crider of Dalton, Winston and Carlene Crider of Alabama, Joseph and Lisa Crider of Alabama; sisters and brothers in law, Deborah and Larry Hamilton of Calhoun, Linda and Allen Whitley of Alabama, Tracey Wilson of Cleveland; grandchildren, David New of Summerville and Desirah Bolich of Cleveland. A service to celebrate the life of Carolyn F. Horning will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Soul Harbor Church of God of the Union Assembly in Calhoun, GA with Brother Fred Cassell officiating.
