Casey J. Childers, age 45, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016. He was born on May 31, 1971. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Childers; grandparents, Rev. Floyd Childers and Nannie Jane Childers. He is survived by his mother and stepdad, Wilma and David Shampo of Tunnel Hill; grandmother, Waldine Childers (Murrel); brother, Adam Childers (Cortney) of Dalton; sisters, Cindy Kirkland (Gary) of Dalton, Christie Pritt (Mike) of Chatsworth, Amy Shampo (Zach England) of Chatsworth; niece, Ariel Kirkland (Jonathan Wells); nephews, Joshua Childers (Haley), Hunter Kirkland, Jordan Kirkland; great nephews, Spencer England, Liam Childers; aunt, Geraldine Geren; and several cousins. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Casey J. Childers will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Varnell Cemetery.
