Cathy DeFoor Jones, age 48, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Friday, January 1, 2021. She was born on August 17, 1972. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Grover "Buster" Massingill, Gradie Lee Massingill, Robert Paul DeFoor SR and Robbie DeFoor. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Jones of Chatsworth; parents, Robert DeFoor JR and Connie DeFoor of Dalton; brothers, Jeff DeFoor, Tracy DeFoor, Jody DeFoor and Gary DeFoor all of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Cindy and Marcus Richardson of Quitman, GA, Angie DeFoor of Dalton; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of aunts and uncles. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Cathy will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Tuesday evening.
