Charles Cornette, age 49, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021. He was born on January 23, 1972. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph "Red" Cornette and Edna Cornette. Charles Cornette is survived by his wife, Shelly Cornette of Dalton; sons, Dustin Cornette and wife Hailey of Chatsworth, Dillon Cornette of Dalton; daughter, Brooke Cornette of Dalton; sisters, Chrystal (Toby) Weaver, Tina (Clay) Hornbuckle, Denise Cornette, Kathy (Michael) Woodard; grandchildren, Charlee Cornette, Hadley Cornette, Taylan Cornette. A funeral service for Charles Cornette will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Pastor Donny Flood will officiate the service. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
