Charles "Marlin" Edward Bryant , age 62, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Friday, November 25, 2016. He was born on February 12, 1954. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Karen Bryant, parents, Charles and Mary Bryant and his sister Linda Newcom. He is survived by his daughters, Ashley Vandergriff of Chatsworth and Jennifer Hall of Dalton; son, Charlie Bryant of Scottsboro Alabama: brother, Roger Bryant; Sisters and Brother-In-Laws Jean and Randy Williams of LaFayette, GA, Sherrell and Rick Schofield of Palm City Florida, Camellia and Scott Anderson of Chatsworth GA, Trecia and Don Howard of Chatsworth GA and Elizabeth and Bruce Johnson of Cohutta, GA; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Charles "Marlin" Edward Bryant will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Pratt officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday.
